Marina RR Genoa Yacht Services is a company established with the primary scope to give refitting and repairing services to large yachts in the harbour of Genoa. However Marina RR has been just set up, this company is well introduced in the yacht business since it has been created by the synergy of two historic genoese companies as Rimorchiatori Riuniti Porto di Genova S.r.l. (owned by Rimorchiatori Riuniti Group s.p.a., leader in the harbour towage service, offshore towage and ocean going vessel market) and MA.RI.NA. Service Genova S.r.l. (a company owned by Marina Porto Antico Group S.p.A., leader in the management and administration of marinas).

Marina RR’s Mission is to offer a full service of maintenance, refitting and repairing (both ordinary and extraordinary) on behalf of large yachts, using and coordinating facilities already existing and belonging to the two shareholders of Marina RR’s and their know-how and professionalism in this activity. Furthermore, since the company takes advantage of a functional double location in the commercial harbour of Genoa, Marina RR may assure a profitable and pleasant stay to the crew. Particularly, the facilities being at Marina RR’s disposal for the abovementioned activities are the following:

• a one hundred  meter dock located at the entrance of the Harbour of Genoa (inside the Fiera of Genoa, exactly where the Salone Nautico usually takes place) and, behind this, a large square to be used for any kind of services of refitting, maintenance or repairing that does not require the grounding of the yacht (a 300 t travel-lift is scheduled for 2010);
• a dry dock located in the Vecchia Darsena Pescatori in the hearth of the old port of Genoa, suitable for yacht up to 60 meter length.

Since 1922 Rimorchiatori Riuniti carries out the harbour towage service in Genoa with his powerful vessels which are constantly steering throughout the waters of Genoa’s commercial harbour, tow in and help mooring arriving ships, as well as escort them out to the open sea, no matter what weather conditions are.

They also watch over the harbour, assisting in case of fire, or any other marine emergency that might endanger the safety of the port, ships and of our community.

From the towage activity in the harbour of Genoa, Rimorchiatori Riuniti has developed his fleet towards other Italian and International ports, has diversified his activity in the supply and anchor handling services to the petroleum rigs, in  the offshore and international towage, up to the ocean going vessels business, through his chemical, bulkcarrier, portacontainer and tanker fleet.

MA.RI.NA Service Genova belongs to Marina Porto Antico S.p.a. and has been working in the yacht services for several years. In the last period, the company has continued his  endeavors in this activity and has decided to invest a huge amount of money in the construction of a  new one hundred-forty mooring dock, a large sworking square  and, within the next future, in a 300 t  travel-lift (2010).

Furthermore, MA.RI.NA Service Genova carries out  the management of the Marina 1 (the  Fiera di Genova’s Marina) with an availability of  more than 200 moorings for yachts up to  20 mt. All the moorings are equipped with potable water, electric current, fire-prevention system and communication facilities. All the day is always available a mooring service for the vessel, carried out with Marina Service’s personal, and a nightly security service.  Finally, the Marina is served by a IP fuel station,  toilets, public telephones and a very close complex with bars, clubs and restaurants.
